Well, I'm gay and my sig advertises it. biggrin But, that's because I was tired of being thought of as male when I posted (plus, I'm really open in life). I have seen a lot of cutdowns by the pranksters that were posting here and, yes, it was insulting. It's a sad world that still thinks calling someone gay or fag or dyke is a way to prove less worth. I didn't notice if crazy john did any of that, but I'd be bothered if he did, especially if he's gay.

As for not liking things here, it seems like john doesn't care for poetry, period. It's style doesn't seem to suit how he feels "what's in your heart" should be expressed. To each his own.

But, john, the thing with poetry and song lyrics is....you take what's in your heart and write it into a set structure. In order to really express what you feel in a creative way that conveys how you feel, think, etc. It's an artful way to use language. If it's not your thing, cool, but try and be constructive in your criticism of it. That's the only real way to tell others what's in your heart about peotry.
